Reliability

Breadboarding circuits is quick, but has a downside: the built circuits are unreliable. All it takes is someone to bump into your board, pull on a cable, and the entire circuit may come apart. Troubleshooting your breadboard to check for bad connections is NOT what you want to be doing on demo day.

  • Buy another protoboard from Adafruit. Don't put a breadboard on it. Instead, solder wires in place.
  • Even better, put connectors on your protoboard so you can safely connect and disconnect parts of your project.
